@brian well I was hoping I can have groups or channels where users can post for group discussion. I see groups in the backend but not sure how it works

@yps how did the user register? sorry no documentation for groups yet but you can ask questions here. to create sub-microblogs go to the "Streams" tab in Admin

@shiny at the bottom of get_query you can uncomment that echo $sql and change the table name to "settings" to output the query

@ostro also (in email mode) you can edit db/boot.php, remove the two slashes from line 617, and then browse to your site. you will now be logged in as the #1 user. be sure to immediately put the slashes back to secure your site

@ostro if you get error messages, copy and paste them here, it sounds like you changed your openid_server and openid_url, I have not tested [toggling] password to email mode, I recommend just leaving it in email mode unless you are really on an intranet

@shiny lines 426 & 427 of db/boot.php, postgresql.php->get_query generates queries & they can be replaced with hand-optimized versions but I haven't gotten to that yet :-) planning to implement a Merb-style pluggable ORM and a real PHP5 O-O rest service
