  @shen84 I did another test with a 3rd-party DNS server to make sure the issue wasn't external-only. logged in 2 users with new and older email/openid no problem

  @shen84 whenever I post a new version, I create an empty mysql database and run a test myself in an empty directory with a fresh build. these are working OK. but you gave me an idea of something else to try. check out my github commit. thanks

  @brian do you think the login/registration problem on tiquer.me is a general bug or just one of my installation? Otherwise the current version won't work @shimul, too.

  @shimul if you have Wordpress or other apps installed, be careful not to delete THOSE databases from your MySQL

  @shimul you need to find your "MySQL" admin utility. create a new database for OMB and discard the old one you had made. then you'll be ready to install again.
