@brian I just tried using twhirl to post to openmicroblogger.com btw and it didn't work for me. It does work for identi.ca however.

@halshura thanks for the report, openmicroblogger has partial support for the Twitter API so it's not quite ready to work with Twhirl but getting close. but the status update API method is identical to twitter and laconica
