  @ostro yes you need to leave the authentication_mode set to 'email' and then get your Twitter OAuth info from twitter and put it into config.yml -- then you can log into the site with Twitter OAuth, then your cron job will start working. complicated!

  @brian ok. so I got the twitter app up and info filled in in config.yml. My user account for twitter in settings. nothing in sources.
